How does Shiftaro pricing work?
Shiftaro pricing is based on your plan, active users, and locations. Paid plans can add users and locations, while the estimator recommends the lowest-cost fit for your current organization.
What counts as an active user?
An active user can currently sign in or be scheduled in Shiftaro. Disabled users do not count toward billing, while their historical records remain preserved.
Can I add users without changing plans?
Yes. Paid plans can add active users at $2 per user per month. Shiftaro recommends the next plan when moving up becomes the better value.
What counts as a location?
A location is a distinct operating site or workforce location managed inside Shiftaro. Additional locations are $15 per month on paid plans.
Is Free Forever really permanent?
Yes. Free Forever has no time limit and is designed for small teams with up to five active users and one location.
How does the 30-day paid-plan trial work?
Choose Starter, Growth, or Scale when you sign up and use that plan free for 30 days. No credit card is required to start. Each organization receives one paid-plan trial period. You may move to a higher paid tier during the trial, but the original trial end date does not reset. If you do not subscribe, your organization returns to Free Forever and your data is preserved.
Do disabled employees keep their history?
Yes. Deactivation removes current access and excludes the person from active-user billing without deleting schedules, punches, requests, tasks, approvals, or audit history.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing applies a 15% discount. The estimator shows the average discounted monthly amount and estimated annual savings.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
Paid plans can continue with user and location overages. Shiftaro recommends upgrading when the next plan becomes more economical.
Are core modules sold separately?
No. Shiftaro is one connected workforce operations platform rather than separate scheduling, communication, time-clock, or operations hubs.
Which plan includes advanced approvals?
Growth introduces the full Approval Center with decision context, risk checks, policy evaluation, and recommendations. Scale adds deeper controls and reporting.
Does Shiftaro support multiple locations?
Yes. Growth includes three locations and Scale includes ten. Additional locations can be added, while Enterprise supports a custom footprint.
What happens if my paid-plan trial ends without a subscription?
Your organization returns to Free Forever. Shiftaro preserves the data you created during the trial. Paid capabilities stop applying, and any usage above Free Forever limits must be reduced or upgraded before you can continue expanding those capacity-dependent records.
